When buying a puppy, it is
more important to look at the parents than it is to look at the puppy. All puppies are cute and irresistible. Seeing the behavior, performance, and physical
structure of the sire and dam will give you a clear
idea of what you can expect from your dog. Your puppy will only be small for the first 6
months. It will be an adult size for the
next twelve years, so seeing the father and mother will be a more accurate
picture of your purchase.
We work hard to match you
with the appropriate dog because we don’t want you to buy a puppy that will not
be right for you in the long run.
Breeding, raising, training, and living with a variety of sporting dogs
allow us to observe each breed’s strengths.
Because we have been doing this for over a decade, we are well-qualified
to assist you in determining which breed is right for you and your future dog.

When you purchase a Kirby
Mountain puppy, we don’t disappear after your check has been cashed. For the lifetime of your Kirby Mountain
sporting dog, we are available to help answer any questions about your dog that
you may have. There are many benefits to
purchasing a Kirby Mountain sporting dog.
During training season, you can schedule a time to come to our facility
to watch us train or to train with us.
You can also contact us if you wish to have an evaluation.

Many people wait months for
their puppies and often reserve a pup before the mom is bred. A great dog is worth waiting for; however,
our litters are often sold before they are ready to leave. In order to insure your pick of a litter, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required. Please specify the litter, sex, breed, and
any other preferences you may have regarding a puppy. Puppies between the ages of birth and 8 weeks
will not be viewed for health and
safety reasons (see “Can I Visit the Puppies?” below); however, you are more
than welcome to set up an appointment to visit the parents of the expected
litter. As stated above, seeing the parents
will give you the best view of what your dog will be like for it long life.
Your pick of the litter will depend on the arrival date of your deposit.
